What is your timber worth?

Get an independent read from a forester who works for you and no one else. Tell me about the land, and I’ll give you a straight answer on what you have and whether an appraisal or sale is worth pursuing.

- Independent appraisal request -

Start with your land.

No cost to talk, no obligation to proceed.

A free appraisal from the person who wants to buy your timber is a bid, not an appraisal. An independent appraisal works from your side of the table: measured, honest, and answering to no buyer.

The widest spread I have seen came on a black walnut sale. The landowner had several offers in hand and none cleared $6,000; the managed, competitively bid sale brought close to $30,000. Walnut runs wider than most, but the direction is the ordinary case: an independent read finds value a lone offer leaves standing.

So Brandon can confirm your area: e.g. Ingham, Eaton, Washtenaw
Rough is fine: e.g. 80 ac
As best you know: e.g. mostly oak and maple, walnut along a field edge
Handy if you’d rather talk it through
An offer already in hand, access notes, what you want for the land…

Goes directly to Brandon and is answered within 24 hours. We don’t share contact information; we don’t use it for anything besides your request.

- Quick answers -

Do you cover my county?

Very likely, if the property is in the southern Lower Peninsula, roughly within a two-hour drive of Lansing, 47 counties in all. Check the service area

What will this cost me?

Pricing is site-by-site. Honest forestry pricing depends on the property, so there's no rate sheet. You always get a written scope and quote before any work begins, and the first conversation is how we find out whether the project is a fit. How pricing works

Who do you work for, me or the mill?

Only the landowner. No timber-buyer commissions, no mill kickbacks. The only client is the landowner who hires the work.
